Reporter

Public radio station KSTK-FM in Wrangell, Alaska, is looking for an experienced, self-starting, full-time reporter and host. Duties include producing local and regional news, interviews and features; hosting newscasts; filing reports for regional and statewide broadcast; participating in fundraising efforts; and other tasks as assigned. Degree and/or two years experience in journalism preferred. Alaska experience preferred. KSTK is a member of the Alaska Public Radio Network and CoastAlaska, which provide training and support. Wrangell is a 2,400 population, Southeast Alaska island community with residents working in timber, fishing, tourism and government. Hunting, fishing, hiking, boating and other recreational opportunities abound. Salaried with competitive benefits.
