Public Broadcasting in Southeast Alaska is looking for engineering department people. Our recent addition of two public radio stations in Juneau and on-going digital television conversion create opportunities in Alaska’s capital city. Join our technical team to serve the regional radio network and KTOO-TV in Juneau, Alaska.
We are seeking a Broadcast Engineer and Broadcast Technician. We’re looking for individuals with a commitment to public broadcasting and an interest in the technical operations. Ideally, we are looking for detail oriented team members who will enjoy working in an innovative organization with station and regional staff located across Southeast Alaska.
CoastAlaska, Inc. is a regional non‑profit public broadcasting organization consisting of 7 stations stations: KCAW Sitka, KFSK Petersburg, KRBD Ketchikan, KSTK Wrangell, KRNN Juneau, KXLL Juneau and KTOO FM & TV Juneau. CoastAlaska provides administrative, financial, development, engineering and technical support services to locally owned and operated stations. As community licensees, our member stations are well-supported, highly visible operations with a strong commitment to local, regional and statewide program production.
Deadline: Open until filled, with an initial screening of candidates on June 21, 2010. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.
Salary: $40,000 to $60,000 annually, depending on experience, with a competitive benefit plan.
