CoastAlaska, Inc. seeks an engineering team member to join our regional services staff as Chief Engineer to share all aspects of public media broadcast engineering; including installation, maintenance, repairs and compliance with FCC regulations. We are seeking a team oriented, energetic person with great organizational and people skills, as well as significant experience in broadcast engineering. Ideally, we are looking for someone who will enjoy working in an innovative public media organization with studio and transmitter facilities in five communities. The ideal candidate will have good communication skills and a proven track record of successful multitasking or serving multiple station sites. CoastAlaska Engineering provides regional support for eight public media stations in Southeast Alaska. CoastAlaska, Inc. provides administrative, financial, news, development and engineering services for the stations. Southeast Alaska is scenically beautiful with abundant outdoors opportunities in a wet and mild maritime climate.

Deadline: Open until filled, with an initial screening on November 14, 2011. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.

Salary: Exempt, $60,000 to $65,000 annually, depending on experience, with a competitive benefit plan.
